Some research and doodles exploring potentially doing illustrations for the “Protect and Survive” guide. Images of people from Hiroshima with burns, sometimes in the pattern of their clothing, and blinded retinas when they looked at the explosion. The House in the Middle was very informative about what happens to houses in a nuclear blast, and When The Wind Blows was good for seeing how people are effected by fallout, as well as how inefficient the advice from ‘Protect and Survive’ was. It was really good, very bleak and depressing though.

This is part two of image research. Part one here
